Fall 2024 Varsity Athletic Awards
The Marianapolis Athletics Department hosted the Fall Varsity Athletic Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Our community was proud to recognize and celebrate outstanding student-athletes for their contributions and accomplishments during the fall sports season.
Our Athletic Director, Jacque Rivera, commenced the ceremony with a warm message of thanks to our athletes, dedicated coaches, and supportive families. Your commitment and encouragement mean so much to our athletic department and the entire Marianapolis community. We couldn’t do it without you!
Astrid Bidwell ‘25 hosted for the first time! Her message of perseverance, balanced with her witty remarks, made our ceremony all the more special.
A couple of members from each team shared meaningful highlights to commemorate their season.
Team captains Riley Landry ‘25 and Havish Swadia ‘25 from Varsity Golf recalled their most memorable match. “The most memorable moment from the season was our first match of the season against Austin Prep. The team was excited for our first match of the year at our home course, and us as captains were excited to see how the new roster would perform.”
Norah Larson ‘25 and Sophia Wildes ‘25 from Varsity Volleyball shared words of inspiration for their teammates to remember when looking back on their 2024-2025 season. “It’s not all about wins or losses, but about giving your best effort in everything you do.”
