Boys' IIIs Basketball
Xander Cook '21 is a shooting guard on the team and was Man of the Match in two away challenging games this past weekend. He worked hard throughout both matches, showed great sportsmanship, and supported his teammates. Xander has a talent for shooting threes, and two back-to-back threes inspired a late renaissance in the match against Pomfret. Xander continuously pushes himself both in practices and in games and his coaches are proud of his effort this season.
Girls' IIIs Basketball
Olivia Pisegna '20, also known as OP, has returned to the IIIs team, and we could not be happier to have her. After playing her freshman year and guest appearing in her sophomore year, OP has brought both her basketball knowledge and leadership to our team. She is always looking for ways to not only improve herself, but her teammates. Unsure of what offense or defense a team is in, look to OP; she is sure to know and already thinking of ways to get around it. OP has brought great energy and passion to our team, and we look forward to her continued leadership both on and off the court. This week we are happy to honor Olivia "OP" Pisegna as our Knight of the Week.
