Tyler DiPietro ’21 Building Community through Leadership
For MPrep alum Tyler DiPietro ’21, the path since graduation has been a unique journey, characterized by a strong commitment to service.

After graduating, Tyler enrolled at Liberty University, where he initially pursued a pre-law track within the Bachelor of Arts program. However, he soon realized that the Bachelor of Science curriculum was a better fit for his strengths and interests. After three years on campus, Tyler is completing his degree online, continuing his connection with Liberty while expanding his involvement in local communities.

Reflecting on his time at Marianapolis, Tyler highlights one experience as particularly influential: founding the Chess Club. What began as a simple idea became an early lesson in leadership, organization, and service to others, skills that would later define his work far beyond campus.

In his local community, Tyler is deeply engaged in civic life. He volunteers at the local food pantry and has a keen interest in politics. Tyler’s commitment to service extends into his personal passions as well. He has enjoyed being an active member and leader within the Oxford Coin Club. Tyler also contributes to his family’s protein shake shop business, The Fresh Monkee, where he helps manage and serve customers, another avenue for connection and leadership.

Tyler’s dedication to Marianapolis has come full circle. He currently serves as a dorm parent and class proctor, mentoring students and supporting the school community in meaningful ways.

From launching a student club to leading in civic spaces and small businesses, Tyler exemplifies what it means to live a life rooted in purpose. His journey not only carries forward the Marianapolis mission but also enhances it, showcasing leadership, service, and community impact in every place he calls home.
