Welcome to Marianapolis Boys' Lacrosse

Three years ago, Head Coach Jake Sumner and Assistant Coach Scott Sheridan took the helm of the Marianapolis Boys’ Lacrosse program. Through in-depth planning with the athletic department and team captains, the coaches worked hard to turn the team into a league contender. Led this season by senior defensive captain David Garza and junior offensive captain Eric Bordua, the Marianapolis Golden Knights seek to improve on their season record while working individually to bolster positional skills, team unity, and overall defensive and offensive schemes.
The team comes together both on and off the field - for Friday night team dinners in the dining hall, gatherings in St. John's dormitory, weekly workouts in the athletic complex, and tailgates after each home game hosted by the parents. The young men of the Golden Knights lacrosse team consider themselves true student athletes who seek to embody the values of Marianapolis on the field, in the classroom, and through extracurricular activities.
For further information concerning the Marianapolis Golden Knight Lacrosse Camp, please contact Head Coach Jake Sumner at jsumner@marianapolis.org or 860-923-9565 ext 294. The camp will now be held as individual skill clinics August 13th, 14th, and 15th. The skills clinics will focus on the fundamentals of lacrosse along with advanced shooting, face off and offensive technique. We look forward to seeing you in August!
Go Knights!
