MUltimate took the loss Monday at Middletown, falling to the Blue Dragons by a final score of 2-11. The Knights were forced to play without Zach Roethel and Captain Amanda Betley after each was injured early in the match. Ryan Kelly and Mike Rice scored for MPS, but the defense was no match for Middletown's quick transition offense. Rice and Pat Kunkel each provided 4 defensive blocks, but MUltimate committed 40 turnovers which the Blue Dragons were able to turn into quick points. The hustle award for the match goes to Hantao "Patrick" Ni, who roan with the cup defense and left the field panting for air.
