The 2013 Golden Knights are returning from a tremendous season. The Knights finished 15 - 5 with a record breaking year making it to the WNEPSA Class B semi-finals. This year's squad returns with a seasoned junior class patrolling the infield. Players have worked on their skills in the off season with great results. "We have a rebuilding year ahead of us, but we look to be contenders in the WNEPSA. We have some talented freshmen who have earned a place on the starting team. We are looking for other newcomers to step-up and solidify the other positions.”
Leading the offense and defense will be the Sensational JUNIOR infield, Jill Bodreau, Elaina Consentino, Miranda Lazzara and Shannon Madden. They will not only limit teams on defense, but will provide power and speed in the batting order. Rounding out the starting lineup will be top newcomers, Christina Doherty (CF) who will provide a pop in the middle of the line-up, Maddie Snyder who will protect the hot corner at third, Megan Tarantino guarding leftfield and pitcher Rylee Hehir. Hehir will see a lot time in the pitching circle. Strong returning players are Emily Audet, Alyssa Jalbert, Juliana Camizzi, Nicole Day and Kelsey Garvey round out this young team with their experience.
