The 2013 Golden Nights are coming off a historic 12-4 season culminating with a SENE Championship. While key contributors from the Championship run have since graduated, the roster has maintained a strong core that has hopes of a championship repeat. Key returners in the championship run are poised for a big senior year: Andrew Gemme (IF, P), Dave Ford (OF), Henry Ellis (OF, P), and Jack Hanrahan (3B, P) are joined by new and talented seniors Rob Puszka (P) and Nestor Zerpa (SS). Juniors Griffin Kelly (1B, P), Austin Miller (1B), Eric Goudreau (C), Jeremiah Knipe (SS, OF) and Connor Bond (OF) will play significant roles all over the diamond. Sophomores Billy Hanrahan (3B, P) and Ryan Baronowski (3B) look to continue their contributions at the hot corner and at the plate, and a wave of Freshman talent: George Murphy (C, P), Dylan Horn (IF, OF, P), Kevin Tata (OF), and Wei (Nathan) Chen (IF, OF, P) will look to contribute at the varsity level. With Gemme, Puszka, Ellis, Kelly, Jack and Billy Hanrahan, and Knipe rounding out a solid pitching staff, the team is poised for another promising season.
