The Marianapolis Ultimate Frisbee program is looking to take a huge step forward during the 2013 season. After finishing 2nd at the New England Prep School Ultimate League tournament last year, this year's varsity team looks to build on the momentum of a solid offseason and a roster loaded with upperclassmen. The junior varsity, under the diligence of Abraham Gustavson, will field a competitive team that has already assured itself a postion at NEPSUL and a developmental squad aimed at building the program. Many students participated in summer leagues and camps in order to hone their skills during the summer and winter months and it shows already during pre-season practices. Senior captain Ryan Kelly and junior captain Zach Roethel will lead the coed varsity under the tutelage of Dylan-Ernst Schäfer. There a six tournaments currently on the schedule and six home games, so we hope to see some MUltimate love when the weather gets warm and sunny!
