Marianapolis understands the financial commitment each family contemplates when considering independent school. The Financial Aid Office was established to help make a Marianapolis education affordable to our families. Each year, we allocate hundreds of thousands of dollars in tuition assistance (which does not need to be repaid); tuition is reduced by the amount of aid awarded and/or credited. Marianapolis uses SSS, School and Student Services for Financial Aid program by National Association of Independent Schools (SSS by NAIS) to help us understand each family’s unique circumstances and to calculate what each family might be expected to contribute towards their child’s education. Financial aid decisions are made separately from admission decisions. Admission decisions are made need-blind. Families are asked to re-apply for financial aid each year of their child’s enrollment and are guaranteed the amount of their award from year to year unless their financial circumstances have drastically changed.
