Nicole Anderson ’17 of Kittery Point, Maine signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball for St. Michael’s College on Friday, November 11.
Anderson, who has played guard for Marianapolis since her sophomore year, averaged 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists last season. She was named a co-captain of the squad for the upcoming season.
Anderson has been playing basketball since she was in kindergarten with the hopes of working toward the collegiate level. Her decision to sign with St. Michael’s was solidified by knowing that she would be able to grow there as a person and an athlete. She explained, “I decided to sign with St. Michael’s because I absolutely loved every aspect of the basketball program and more importantly the school. I am excited to be receiving a great education while continuing to play basketball at the collegiate level.”
