What is the deadline for applying?
If you are applying for a 9th grade day position the deadline is December 1st. Please see

Residential/Transfer Applicant page for details on applying. We accept applications on a rolling basis after the deadline(s).
What if I missed the deadline?
Please feel free to contact our Admissions office to see if there are still opportunities to apply. Applications are typically reviewed on a rolling basis after the deadline(s).
How much homework should I expect each day?
Students typically average about 2 - 3 hours of homework per evening, although it does range based on course level.
Am I required to participate in a sport?
Yes, Marianapolis students participate in two seasons of sports. There is a variety to choose from – intramural and interscholastic. Sports that are offered include soccer, cross country, basketball, yoga, wrestling, tennis, golf, track and field, and softball/baseball to name a few.
Does Marianapolis help with the college application process?

Are there honors and advanced placement (AP) courses offered?

Yes, Marianapolis offers different levels of honors and advanced placement courses. To see a complete list of courses, please
click here. Students are selected by the faculty to enroll in honor and AP courses.
What is a typical class size?
Average class size is approximately 15 students per class. The student to faculty ratio is 8:1.

Is extra help offered?
Yes. Not only is extra help offered, but its encouraged. Our academic day includes time to seek extra help through resources such as direct teacher support as well as a math center and a writing center to help students in specific areas. Students are also assigned advisors who meet with them on a daily basis. These advisors offer advice and guidance on how to tackle day to day concerns and work with our students to achieve success.
What types of clubs/activities are offered?
There are many
clubs and activities that are offered from the more serious "Amnesty International" to the fun “Board game Friday” club. Students can select clubs that they find interest in. Clubs and activities vary year to year and are based on student interest.
