Art and Music
Every student at Marianapolis is encouraged to find their love of arts, whether it is painting, photography, drawing, singing, playing an instrument, acting in plays or decorating sets, making jewelry...the list is a long one. Through art and music we share and connect with one another on a different level. Who doesn't get goosebumps when a tenor soprano hits a perfect high "c"? Or when a black and white photo conveys the emotions within a stranger's eyes? Or through fine actors and actresses who become the characters they are portraying?

At Marianapolis there is a wide variety of art and music curriculum from which to choose, as well as ample extracurricular activities and clubs. Our choral program is booming with vocal and instrumental ensembles. And our art students feature their best work at Art Shows twice a year. Our Drama program performs three plays a year. And a dance program slated for 2010 will bring ballet, jazz and modern dance performances.

Our talented Music, Art and Drama faculty collaborate often to unite the arts in memorable performances meant to inspire students and their families to always reach for the stars.
